Managing Order sync with Discount from Magento to Acumatica

You can add a discount to an order from Magento and sync the same order into Acumatica. For this synchronization process, you need to follow the steps as described.

Step 1. You need to click the [Marketing] section of the left panel and you will get the option for the Cart Price Rule under [Promotions].

Step 2: Create a Discount Rule from the following screen. To create a rule, you need to click on [Add New Rule].

Step 3. Upon clicking on the [Add New Rule] you need to fill up the following field.

• Rule Name (Text Field- Mandatory)
• Description (Text Field)
• Active (Toggle button- Mandatory) to enable.
• Website
• Customer Groups (Mandatory List): Select the customer groups to which you want the discount to be applied. For example, General, Wholesale and Retail.
• Coupon (Drop down- Mandatory): The 3 available options are No Coupons, Specific Coupons and Auto. Generally, for the discount code you need to select No Coupons.
• User Per Customer: You can leave this field blank.

Step 4: Conditions: Once you feel the mandatory details you need to set the discount condition. Click on the Conditions and this section will expand.

You need to add the condition from here as shown below.

A list of drop-downs will appear upon clicking on the [+] symbol. So, you can select the option from the list. For illustration here Payment Method is selected.

You need to select the payment method from the dropdown for which the discount will be applicable. Here, Braintree has been selected as a payment method as shown below.

Step 5: Click on the [Action] option to expand. This section includes the method of discount application on the product price.

• Apply [Drop-down]: Percentage of product price discount.
  • Fixed amount discount
  • Fixed amount discount for the whole cart
  • Buy X get Y free (Discount amount is Y)
• Discount Amount [Mandatory]: If you have selected a fixed amount discount then you can enter the discount amount.
• Maximum Qty Discount is applied to: you need to specify the number of maximum qty. where the discount can be applied. Discount Qty Step (Buy X): This field is applicable for Buy X get Y Free
• Fre shipping or Reward points: if you want to use free shipping or reward points you can use this column.

Upon entering all the details, you must click on [Save] and the Discount code you have created will be displayed.
